Electronic Assembly Technician (Job #003)

Duties:
Assemble wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies according to the schematic drawing provided.
- Cut cable of various gauges using tools provided.
- Strip wire of various gauges using either hand stripper tool or electric stripping machine.
- Solder wires to terminals and connectors (under supervision).
- Crimp contacts onto wire using hand crimper or pneumatic tool as specified (under supervision).
- Use heatgun to apply heatshrink to cable.
- Print and apply identification labels.
- Other related duties as required by management, may include some general office paperwork.
Skills Required:
- Crimping, Soldering, Stripping and Cutting Cable.
Educational Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma or experience in the field.
- Aptitude Test.
