Materials Handler (Job #022)

Reports to:	Production Manager
Starting Pay Range:	$9-13 per hour
Position Type:	Full-Time

General Duties:

Cut and Strip wire as indicated on drawings, using automated cutter and hand tools.
File production documents.
Assist in the functions of Shipping and Receiving.
Assist the Production Department with general duties as necessary.
Inventory cycle counting.
May involve some heavy lifting and handling of heavy shipments as required.
Other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Required:

Working with others (i.e. work with individual or team; build consensus).
Knowledge of metric and imperial measurement system, and the ability to convert measurements.
Knowledge of computer systems (i.e. Excel, Word).
Speaking and listening skills (i.e. communicate clearly, follow directions).
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Educational Requirements:

Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent.
Aptitude Test.
