Regional Sales Representative (Job #026)

General duties including:
  • Professionally represent BHC while working in partnership with our customers.
  • Live by BHC quality policy.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts as well as prepare all quotations and documents as required.
  • Acquire 3 new customers quarterly meeting specified annual sales and gross margin levels.
  • Weekly Reporting to be submitted to Management Team:
    • Complete weekly call reports.
    • Report on competitive circumstances in the field.
    • Identify new market opportunities.
  • Introduce new products to market.
  • Monthly and Quarterly reporting to Management Team:
    • On sales budget projections and revised forecasts as required.
    • Quarterly summary of prospects.
    • Market summary report.
  • Annually present to management team sales budget for upcoming fiscal year.
  • Develop and maintain detailed client profiles in company customer management system.
  • Work with BHC team in all matters of customer service. Liaise with BHC Technical Advisor to ensure compatibility.
  • Deliver goods to customers as required.
  • Travel as required.
  • Maintain a vehicle in a professional manner ensuring cleanliness.
Skills Required:
  • Strong interpersonal skills (i.e. work with individual or team; build consensus).
  • Knowledge of metric and imperial measurement system, and the ability to convert measurements.
  • Very strong computer systems (i.e. Microsoft office products Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing is an asset.
  • Motivated self starter who can work independently.
  • Organized.

  • Cold calling experience and aggressive closer.
  • Excellent negotiating.

Educational Requirements:
  • University Degree in Business with a focus on Sales or equivalent.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years Business to Business sales experience in the Electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of the regional market.
Other:
  • Own car.

  • Customer retention must be 92% or greater.
